Comparing Inverter Air Conditioner Quotes in Sri Lanka

Two air conditioner quotations can look directly comparable until the details are read. One may cover a different capacity, a shorter installation route or only the equipment. The inverter label does not resolve those differences.

A fair comparison begins with one room brief. Give every supplier the same dimensions, exposure, occupancy and likely operating hours, then ask how each proposed system meets that requirement.

Keep the cooling task constant

Record the area intended for cooling and any connected spaces. Describe the normal use of doors, windows and shading. Ask the assessor to explain the capacity recommendation for the actual room instead of choosing solely by an advertised package.

If a quotation changes, check whether the cooling requirement has changed too. A lower amount may reflect different equipment or omitted work. Keep revisions attached to the original brief so the reason for the difference remains visible.

Read the operating information, not just the label

Inverter systems can adjust compressor speed as cooling demand changes. That operating principle is useful background, but actual performance still depends on the model, sizing, installation and conditions.

Request documented efficiency information for the exact options. Check whether ratings use the same metric and test basis before comparing numbers. Where the bases differ, ask for an explanation rather than assuming the larger figure is better.

Use two realistic schedules

Start with the hours the household expects to use the room. Then consider a lighter-use case, such as a changed work routine or periods away from home. This reveals whether a reason for paying more depends heavily on sustained operating hours.

Any estimated running-cost difference should state its assumptions, including consumption, hours and the electricity rate used. Avoid presenting a possible saving as a guaranteed household result. The calculation is a decision aid, not a promise about a future bill.

Compare the complete offer side by side

Check Keep comparable
Equipment Exact model and assessed cooling requirement.
Installation Locations, route, materials, drainage, access and electrical scope.
Operation The same usage assumptions and explained efficiency measures.
Ownership Written warranty, routine care and service arrangements.

When checking air conditioner prices in Sri Lanka, note whether delivery, setup and necessary supporting work appear in the offer. A unit-only price and a completed installation total answer different questions.

Choose for a reason you can review

If one option costs more, write down what the extra amount provides and why it matters for the room. It may relate to operating characteristics, control or another verified requirement. Optional features deserve attention when the household has a clear use for them.

Ask Aiken to confirm the exact model, installation assumptions and terms before ordering. Keep those details together. A clear purchasing record makes the decision understandable today and useful when the equipment later needs service or review.
